The History
Visage Náturel was developed by the makers of professional microdermabrasion systems to provide professional results in the comfort and privacy of your home. In addition to offering the exfoliating treatment, the Visage Náturel kit comes complete with patented serums designed to rebuild, rejuvenate and refresh the skin.
The Challenge
The challenge of this campaign was two-fold, convince savvy consumers of the value of using this at-home treatment and educate new consumers on the benefits of microdermabrasion and the value of the Visage Náturel system.
The Positioning
In the Visage Náturel campaign, the product was positioned as a tool to turn back time, to renew old skin and to save it from the damaging elements that everyone experiences day-to-day. Animated graphics at the open represent the various harmful elements and a Greek statue breaks apart urging the audience to “break free from their old skin care regimen,” and to rejuvenate and renew their skin.
The Strategy
A tagline was developed to communicate the ultimate message: Renew the beauty in you! Because it is a beauty product, we shot the commercial on 35mm film. The film adds depth, clarity and richness to the production quality. The commercial featured women of different ethnicities and a host to communicate the central message and explain the benefits of the Visage Náturel system. The system was explained through product usage demonstrations and with graphics and animation to show how the various serums penetrate the skin. Finally, in order to motivate our viewers to try the product, we promised a risk-free offer that if our purchasers were not 100 percent satisfied, they could return their empty bottles for a full refund of the purchase price.
